From the provider: The aKin Vision aKin is a Public Benefit Corporation, and we measure our success by our positive impact on society. We dream of a world where technology is a force for good, and day-by-day helps us build a better life. Technology should give us well being, meaningful connection with people we love, and mindful use of time and resources. The vision for aKin came to our founder after a personal journey. While building enterprise grade AI systems for large corporations as a working mum she realised two things: AI systems have more influence on daily life than people realise. They learn everything about us, effectively communicate with us, and shape our behaviours every day Nobody was applying deep tech and AI to solve a problem she, like millions of others, were faced with every day. The challenge of balancing being a primary caregiver, running a home and caring for the well-being of loved ones, with contributing to society through work The support that aKin Home delivers is focused on the following areas: Activities of daily living Health and wellbeing Relationships Social and community engagement Goal management aKin Home is a reasonable and necessary comprehensive Assistive Technology device.
