From the provider: We offer a comprehensive range of clinical and therapeutic services including: Soft Tissue Therapy Myofascial Dry Needling Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) Kinesio, Rigid and Functional Fascia Taping Running Gait Analysis Rebuild Your Feet Personal Training Functional Release Cupping In most instances, a combination of soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and movement, together with a home-care exercise program will usually lead to a resolution of the problem. Our goal is to identify and treat the cause, as 9 times out of 10, where the pain is, is never the actual problem. We believe that movement is your number one form of medicine, so it is very rare that you will be told to go away and rest an injury! We want to send you away from the clinic, stronger and more educated than when you first arrived. The real work starts once the pain is gone. We also work closely with other clinical disciplines such as chiropractors, osteopaths, exercise physiologists, physios, and sports doctors. If there is something we believe we can’t give 100% to, we shall refer out to one of the other modalities to make sure you get the best treatment possible.

From the provider: Hello pals! My name is Maddie and i am a fully qualified nutritionist and culinary art therapist. What is culinary art therapy? Culinary art therapy is a relatively new term! We use a person centred approach to build skills, engage the senses to increase mindfulness, incorporate more play and create positive and empowering food related beliefs and experiences. Every session will look different but it could look like getting in the kitchen and making bread where we can smell the dough, squeeze it, watch the dough slowly rise, punch the air out of the dough, and even taste it when it's done! This is part of our Dough Therapy program where using the senses helps us slow down and gives us a chance to talk and explore any feelings that come up. A session could also look like: Shadowing a family in the grocery store to offer tips and advice on increasing variation that suit someone's sensory needs. Increasing exposure and (potentially non-eating) experiences with food by using fun and interactive tools that we keep in our Culinary therapy kit. Preparing a simple dish together to help increase confidence and self-esteem And more! Typical talk therapy tends to focus on what is “missing” rather than focusing on what someone is capable of. Culinary art therapy uses a person centred approach to highlight and build on the strengths and abilities that someone has. Benefits: Gaining insight into one's behaviour Learning about social skills/cues Increased awareness about health and nutrition Improved communication and team building skills Stress management Brain development through using the senses Other services we offer include: - Grocery List Planning - Food Budget Planning - Meal Planning - Supermarket Tours - Recipe Planning - Pictorial Resources - Mealtime Management Plans - Family and Support Worker Education Sessions - Café and Restaurant Ordering Assistance
